I thought I'd do two reviews.

Review 1: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder

Sheer curiosity gripped our family ever since we saw a number from the show.  So, over break, we went to the city. :iconanaxerik4ever: and I took off by ourselves and we made it with about 20 minutes to spare. And the show began!

Summary: Monty Navarro is told a secret; he's from a wealthy family called the D'ysquiths from his mother's side. Unfortunately, he's a little far in line to be earl, and it would take some "accidents" to happen, which is just what happens.  Romance, hilarity, and wonderful singing and acting ensue!

MPO: I was wowed by the voices, and I have to admit that they cast Monty very well.

Favorite song (s): "Poison in my Pocket", "Sibella", and "I decided to marry you".

Overall score: 10/10

Review 2: Jekyll and Hyde

A roommate of mine suggested watching Jekyll and Hyde tonight, so I agreed. Why not? I'd like to see what they did with a horror story.

Summary: Based on the classic novel, the musical tells of Dr. Henry Jekyll who creates a potent elixir that when drunk or injected into him transforms him into the evil Edward Hyde.

MPO: The set design and most of the singers were great (Hasselhoff was decent, but after hearing Constantine, Anthony Warlow, and the dude from the 1990's broadway version (forgot his name!) singing the role on YouTube, those 3 dudes do it better than Hasselhoff!).

Favorite song (s): "This is the moment", "First Transformation", and "Confrontation"

Overall score: 9/10 (I wish I could've seen Constantine in the title roles instead of Hasselhoff!)
